The Impact of Thought Leadership
What gets read, who gets read, and what does it lead to?
In July 2014, we asked approximately 400 executives in the US – most of whom worked in senior management positions, and the majority of whom worked for large companies –a series of questions about thought leadership. We wanted to know how much thought leadership they read, how they receive it, what makes it stick in their minds, which firms’ material they’re most likely to look at, and why. But perhaps more importantly, we wanted to know what impact thought leadership has on them. We wanted to know what they do next. What they told us forms the basis of this report.
If you’re involved in the creation, management, distribution, or promotion of thought leadership in any way, we suggest you read on.
